Whoa.

This IM conversation is pretty explanitory:

MockingBird: I was sitting and having morning tea when someone rang the doorbell approximatley 92384732984 times

MockingBird: then I heard SPECIAL DELIVERY FROM JAPAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!

MockingBird: and I was like what

MockingBird: so our creepy 80 year old decrepit mailman was outside screaming that
MockingBird: and ringing the doorbell

MockingBird: so I went out there and was like whoa jeez that's a lot of doorbell

MockingBird: and he said here you have to sign this your husband got you something from japan to surprise you

MockingBird: and I was like what

MockingBird: so I took it inside, and the packing slip came out first so I was like hey Rory isn't my husband

MockingBird: and then the rest came out and I was like shaking and stuff because I was like OH MY GOD

MockingBird: then I e-mailed Brian and asked if it was possible that you ordered something for yourself but sent it to me by mistake

Yes, getting this in the mail from Rory made me turn into a werido squealing girl. I'm sure it'd have that effect on a lot of people. This definitely makes up for that time I saw his balls.

Oh look an update.

Holidays make me dead.

I knitted so much I gave myself tendonitis, but hey, relatively cheap homemade presents for everyone! I made an official BBC pattern Dr. Who scarf for dad. It ended up being about a foot wide by at least 12 feet long. Made with worsted wool on size 6 needles. Oh god. It took forever. Then I forgot to get a picture. Argh.

In other news, Kristi took me to see the Asylum Street Spankers at Casbeers. It was a fantastic show. If you like 30's/40's ragtime and funny songs about boogers and beer (separately, not together) then you will enjoy. Casbeers looks like a hole in the wall, and is a bit bigger than our living room, but I've never been smooshed together with more friendly people in my life. The place was drama-free, which was a first for any show I've seen. The band was awesome, and makes me want to seek out other local area shows. I'll start on that right away, when I have more free time. Which is never.

Christmas was good. I got lots of money from my family, and some great looking RPG's for PS2, a beautiful necklace (seriously, I usually don't gush about jewelry but it's gorgeous), and some chocolates from the Mister.

Also, one of my professors has talked me into submitting my research proposal pertaining to immediacy in online classrooms to the National Communication Association convention this year. I'm seriously doubting it will be accepted, but it's nice to know that a guy that knows what he's talking about thinks it's worth it to give it a shot. There was a lot of its in that sentence.

No funny pictures this time. Poo.

Some more stuff

I just finished making the best scarf ever.

It's fuzzy and soft and weird. It also doubles as a quick Mileena disguise to hide my hideous tarkata face.
